The National Basketball Association was in the county this past week. Their visit was made in honor of what would have been Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.

In Madiba’s spirit, the NBA organized several community programs in South Africa and the week ended on a high note in Pretoria as Team Africa took on a Team World of international players.

The NBA Africa basketball games took place at Sun Arena, Time Square in Pretoria, Gauteng.
