The gorgeous, sassy and vibrant Lerato Kganyago is one of the best radio and television personalities we have in South Africa. 

Lerato Kganyago, who recently left Live AMP, took to Twitter in a series of tweets to express how she feels about fake people in the industry.

“I cringe when I see people that I KNOW for a fact don’t like me, act like they like me…I get hibbly jibblies when they get near me!

In our industry it’s so common and I battle with it. I don’t know how many times I’ve held my tongue in public to avoid “drama” – Lerato tweeted.

She went on to say “LOL my Gods always have my back. One said awful things about me while standing next to my manager, and obviously she wasn’t aware. So my manager told me, later she came to say HI, I couldn’t hold it back, I just said “YO, my manager overhead you talk about me, let’s not fake it (sic).”

Isibaya actress Jessica Nkosi confirms pregnancy

Jessica Nkosi pregnant

Isibaya actress Jessica Nkosi has confirmed on social media that she is expecting a baby with her Uzalo boyfriend Ntokozo Dlamini who plays Mastermind on the show. 

Rumours of her pregnancy have been going around since late March, after a fan congratulated Jesicca and her boyfriend Ntokozo on Twitter.

Speaking to True Love Magazine, the local actress said she wasn’t trying to hide her pregnancy from the public but wanted to enjoy her pregnancy without having the spotlight on her.

“There’s nothing scandalous about my pregnancy. Therefore, I don’t want any drama around it and I certainly don’t want anyone to have an opinion about it.”

Celebrated radio host and social activist Criselda Dudumashe has blessed herself with a brand new Jaguar. 

For those who don’t know her, formerly known as Criselda Kananda, she is a mother, Radio and Television Presenter, dynamic business woman, Facilitator, Inspirational Speaker, Professional Counselor, Former Nurse and medical underwriter.

She started, a radio talk show called Positive Talk in 2003 on KAYA-FM focusing on how HIV and AIDS impacts on health, wellness and socio economic imbalances

Musician, TV presenter, actress and fashion mogul Nandi Madida revealed that she wants to do a boob job. She was speaking with Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral. 

Nandi, who is without a doubt one of the most talent women in South Africa, told Gareth Cliff in an interview that although she would have never thought of it before having a child, she might consider having a boob job because after having her son Shaka her “boobs will never be the same.”

Nandi is also thankful for not having gained any baby weight though, and credits her maintained weight to her choice of not drinking alcohol.

Taking to Instagram to share a photo of here expensive early birthday gift to herself, Amanda who will be turning 30 on 26 June, bought a new sports car.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE about purchasing her new car, du Pont revealed that she has always had a love for cars and the McLaren has always been on her wish list.

“Those close to me know I have always had a love for cars. The McLaren is one of the cars I’ve had on my vision board. I’m thrilled and blessed to have been able to purchase it in my birthday month. I feel so blessed, and must give all the glory to God. I look forward to many miles in this car, and hope to see more sisters behind the wheel of super cars.”

“Women are doing big things, they always have been in all sectors of their lives. It may only be apparent now, but we are a force to be reckoned with. Women are empowering and being empowered. Women are entering spaces, and acquiring what was perhaps only perceived to be for men,” – Amanda du Pont told TshisaLIVE.

South African television personality, radio host and businesswoman Bonang Matheba will make her first-ever appearance on Real Talk next week Monday.

On Wednesday, radio DJ Azania Mosaka was announced as the new host of the celebrity talk-show following Anele Mdoda’s resignation last month.

The news was announced by TVwithThinus saying “BREAKING. @Azania_ Mosaka, taking over from Anele Mdoda on @RealTalkOn3 on @SABC3, scores a sit-down scoop for her first episode debut on Monday 18 June as the new host: Her first guest will be @bonang_m doing her first-ever interview on Real Talk.”

Bonang’s interview will be followed by DJ Zinhle’s interview.

Bonang Matheba’s episode will air on Monday – 18 June at 18:02 and DJ Zinhle’s episode will air on Tuesday – 19 June at 18:02 on SABC 3 (DSTV channel 193). Their appearances will be followed by that of Lady Zamar, Kwesta and Mshoza.

We first learnt about Robbie Malinga Jr after he suddenly started posting on his late father’s Instagram page. The 16-year-old Jr is the son of veteran music producer and singer Robbie Malinga who died five months ago.

“Me and my mom had a conversation, discussing the whole thing. She was in on it the whole time, so it wasn’t a case of me taking my father’s account and boom (I was on it). We talked and discussed how we would do it. I have been doing other accounts, so I don’t get why people are acting like this is a big thing.” – Robbie Jr told DJ Sabby on YFM last month.

Producer Anant Singh announced today that the legacy of the youth activists of 16 June 1976 will be honoured with the broadcast of the film SARAFINA! on e.tv and its sister channel eMovies.

Produced by Singh and directed by Darrell James Roodt, the film stars Leleti Khumalo, Mbongeni Ngema, John Kani, Robert Whitehead, Miriam Makeba, Somizi Mhlongo and Academy Award Winner, Whoopi Goldberg.

SARAFINA! will be broadcast on Youth Day, 16 June on e.tv (OpenView Channel 104 and DStv Channel 194) at 3.55pm, and then on eMovies (OpenView Channel 106 and DStv Channel 138) on 17 June at 8pm and on 18 June at 10.55am.
