At the engagement party, the happy couple shared some heartwarming speeches.

“I think for the first time tonight it actually sunk in that we’re getting married. I’m also very emotional and that’s why I try so hard not to talk for too long because I end up crying, which I don’t want to do “, Thabethe said.

“I think she said everything. You know how women always say, ‘I don’t like to speak but end up speaking’… it’s crazy. Thank you for loving me. Guys this is the most stunning woman I’ve ever seen,” – Mashao declared his love for Thabethe.

Connie Ferguson responds to Marah Louw’s claims

Connie Ferguson

Actress and producer Connie Ferguson has finally opened up about the recent feud between Marah Louw and Ferguson Films, the production company that she and her husband Shona Ferguson own.

This comes after Sunday Sun reported that Marah Louw was fired by Ferguson Films after she turned down the contract.

“Yes I declined to take the offer because they treated me like trash,” Louw told Sunday Sun.

Responding to Marah Louw’s statement, Connie Ferguson has said she is “praying for” Marah Louw, following the latter’s dramatic exit from the drama series “The Queen”. She further added that she won’t engage with Louw on a mud-slinging level.

“It’s not my style. I pray Mama Marah finds peace in her spirit, and that is really all I can do for her,” she said in a text message to Trending SA’s producers.

She said she was unsure what Louw’s exact allegations were, and therefore found it difficult to respond.

“She would have to do better than just say she was treated like ‘trash’. As with all our cast members, we have been nothing but respectful, especially to her,” Ferguson added.

According to reports, Louw has consulted her lawyers for legal advice. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Marah said “I contacted a lawyer to get their opinion on what had happened but I thought it would die down. I am now just watching the situation.”
