ROUGE Releases New Single – Dololo Ft. Bigstar

ROUGE – Dololo Ft. Bigstar

Following the succesful release of her album The New Era Sessions and her latest single Deja Vu, still charting on several radio stations, Rouge will finally release at 10 AM this morning her latest offering titled “Dololo” as the 2nd single off her album, featuring BIGSTAR. The single is already available across all digital music platforms.

On this track already dubbed by key industry players as a next summer smash, Rouge chooses to expose those pretenders, flossing a lifestyle they clearly cannot afford while celebrating hardworking succesful sisters as only the Mongo Zaka hit-maker is able to do.

Rouge says that: “Dololo’s a fun and upbeat song about guys who like to show us nice cars but once you scratch the surface, you realize that they actually have ‘dololo’. With this track, I also want to continue to empower women to aspire to become their own CEOs rather than rely on people who have nothing to offer them”.

For Dololo”, Rouge continues her collaboration with Zambian star-producer, Mae N Maejor (No Strings) and K-Beatz from Canada, with additional production by Ron Epidemic from South Africa.

Many expect this base-filled trap smash hit to take-over our airwaves and definitely become a club favourite for summer.

Go The Rodeo release lyric video for new single “Vultures”

Go The Rodeo Vultures music video

Johannesburg based Electro-Rock band Go The Rodeo are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the South African music industry. Having released 3 critically acclaimed singles already this year, all of which received airplay on national and regional radio, the band now brings you their brand new single Vultures.

Watch Vultures by Go The Rodeo below:

Vultures is a song about the agony and struggle of trying to reach your dreams, but being pulled back into reality every time you get close. For vocalist Corné the meaning stretches into attempts to leave South Africa, and the economic and emotional difficulty faced by that notion. He begs to be cut loose from the leash before it becomes a noose, essentially killing him, or killing the dream.

In the same breath, the song also talks about a woman, which leads to a second metaphor: the duality of loving someone so much that you don’t want to let go of the thought of them, yet subconsciously begging for that person to cut you loose before it destroys you.

The guys have big plans for 2018. The next single, “Glass Walls”, will be released early in year and features guest vocals from US based band Our Last Night. The song will also showcase Go the Rodeo’s first music video, shot by international film director, Patrick Garcia. They will also be playing multiple local festivals, and touring SA with international bands: Our Last NightHands like housesDance Gavin DanceSecrets, and Fit for a King.
