Idols SA Season 13 runner up Botlhale Phora has released his anticipated single titled Mama Ka Nozi No Thando, the song was composed by Botlhale & John Lundon and produced by John Lundon.

“I’m super excited about official release of my single “Mama Ka Nozi No Thando” it has been in the market before. People really loved the song but after Idols that’s when I decided to re-record the song and re-release it for greater audience not only in Tshwane but across South Africa, and I’m happy cause people are receiving the song well, it is on number 19 on iTunes new releases” – Shares Botlhale.

The Pretoria born Botlhale Phora has been on SA’s Got Talent in 2015 and was nominated for Top 21, and in 2016 he was on The Voice SA Season 1 made and it to Top 32. He has also performed with Lira on M-net & Friends Lira Show. Most recently he was on Idols Season 13 where he achieved Top 3.

Botlhale’s single titled Mama Ka Nozi No Thando, is currently being receiving support on radio stations across the country. The Pretoria Singer & Song-writer is well on his way to success in the music industry.

Bakhothe Mzee releases brand new music video titled ‘Can’t Get’

Hailing from Bekkersdal, upcoming musician Bakhothe Mzee has released his brand-new music video titled ‘Can’t Get’ from his album Mountain View Dreams. The young artist defines his style as old-school hip-hop with a touch of Kwaito.

The multi-talented artist writes and produces his own music. He is a firm believer in small beginnings because of where he comes from and he has his sights set on becoming a household name in the South African hip-hop scene.

The ‘Can’t Get’ music video was shot and directed by BStillMotionMedia in Bakhothe Mzee’s hometown as he felt that Bekkersdal and the locals there reflect who he is and where he comes from. One will notice a popular Trompies sample in this single which offers a nostalgic feeling for old school Kwaito fans. Local Hip Hop friends and collaborative creative partners, Rex Steele and Slush Papi are releasing their music into the market in a totally adventurous and boundary pushing way – by showcasing not only their music and sound, but packaging it in a mini Music Video documentary style film highlighting their journey and struggles and their passion to get their music heard.

This is the story of 2 hip-hop creative’s in a troubled environment finding a way to overcome the struggle through music and art.

The Documentary is a reflection of modern day South Africa seen through the eyes of 2 rappers. Gujwa Aka Rex Steele explains – “Zuma’s Zoo is about creating a new platform to showcase our music, to creatively depict our surroundings and artistry into one form. Which is why this is not entirely a documentary but more of a depiction of a lifestyle, as our regular lives and hustle/grind in this lovely city of ours is promulgated”.

Instead of just dropping another single in an already over saturated market, they wanted to execute something different, something to express their emotions and creativity by showing how they adapt and maneuver in this environment.

The Documentary will be preceded by the release of a series of separate music videos and the soundtrack is available on ITunes and all other digital platforms will follow. The lead singles for the doccie are Free30k and Vuka Kleva.

Zuma’s Zoo was shot by Sky Heaven and produced by O.T.Z (Operation Thatha Zonke). The official Documentary Zuma’s Zoo will be released on You Tube on 27 April.

Stan B Set To Perform at Back To The City 2018

He will be sharing the stage with headline acts such as Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick and Emtee to name a few.

The event features 60 artists, 30 DJs, Graffiti artists, Break-dancers, BMX, Skaters, 10 live bands, Freestyle Football, Stalls all representing the pinnacle of artistic expression from South Africa and a surprise international act.
