Taking to Twitter to explain what happened, Mobi Dixon tweeted: “The promoters didn’t deliver however I don’t condone this behavior!”

He went on to say promoters advertised an event and all artists including himself weren’t paid their balance.

Speaking to The Juice, Graham Abrahams, Director of MIDSA (the event organisers), confirmed that artists did not perform at the event due to payment issues.

“We tried to get safety certificates so we could pay the artists. They were right that they didn’t get full payment.” – Graham added.
