Ferguson Films Present New Drama Series The Imposter

The Imposter

Ferguson Films, the incredibly popular producers behind shows such as Rockville, Igazi and Mzansi Magic’s popular telenovela, The Queen present a new drama series called ‘The Imposter’ – a story about identical twins torn apart by evil.

According to DSTV, ‘The Imposter’ is a 13-part drama that follows a story of twin sisters, Mantwa and Matshepo Tau who find themselves at war as a consequence of a moment that changed their lives.

How exactly does this happen? One of the sisters breaks out of prison after spending seventeen years and takes over the wonderful life of her identical twin who is responsible for her incarceration.

Thishiwe Ziqubu takes the lead portraying the role of the twins alongside Mpumi Mpama (as Reginald), Khulu Skenjana (as Caesar), Omuhle Gela (as Lerato), Zenzo Nqobe (as Junior), Mary Twala (as Gogo), Owen Sejake (as Warden Moloisi) to name a few.

The Imposter premiers on Sunday, 8 October 2017 at 20:00 on Mzansi Magic, DSTV Channel 161.
