Joshua The I AM will officially launch his Glitch single tonight in Maboneng with an audio, fashion, visual art and video exhibition. For the special launch Joshua The I AM takes the lead as creative curator for the various elements including fashion, photography, illustration and more.

Beyond that, he collaborates with the likes of Urban Art, who have sponsored the event; JOOX, who will curate the music playlist for the event; stylist The Uniconz; photographer Unkle Bats, Illustrator Seth Pimental, game developer Lorenzo Plaatjies; and media platform Hype Magazine.

“Thank you to all the brands, creatives and media that have come on board to support Joshua The I AM’s first commercial release and thank you to the Vth Season team that have put together a unique exhibition and allowed Joshua The I AM to remain the true creative that he is. This is really what it’s all about,” shares Ninel Musson, Director at Vth Season.

Glitch brings a refreshing urban sound to the South African Hip Hop landscape. About his new single, Joshua The I AM shares: “Glitch is probably my favourite song I’ve ever written. I’ve been trying to achieve taking complex ideas and simplifying them without dumbing them down. Glitch is about a toxic relationship filled with cheating and mind games, but I’ve made light of it by personifying a gaming console.”
