Catch the Miss World pageant live! Miss World South Africa, Thulisa Keyi, is currently one of the favourites at the Miss World competition taking place in Sanya, China.
Twenty-six-year-old Keyi, who hails from Mdantsane outside East London in the Eastern Cape, is representing South Africa against contestants from 119 other countries. In the build-up to the finale, Keyi won the Miss World Designer Award (shared with the People’s Republic of China) and has placed in the Top 5 for Miss World Top Model.

Driven by her passion to succeed, Thulisa’s hard work was evident when she matriculated with distinction and was offered numerous scholarships to study further. Graduating from UCT with a BComm Accounting and PGDA, Thulisa is currently completing her articles with one of the “Big Four” audit firms to become a chartered accountant.
Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant and was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. What initially started as a swimsuit competition, has grown into a platform for philanthropic and humanitarian work with Julia Morley at the helm.
