Nomzamo Mbatha Shares her Self-Starter Secrets at PUMA SELECT event


PUMA will host a couch session with businesswoman Fumani Mthembi and actress Nomzamo Mbatha on the morning of Saturday 26th May at the SELECT Courtyard in Braamfontain.

As part of their SELECT x STORIES series, this event is titled “The Challengers” and the conversation topic will be around self-starters and entrepreneurs.

Nomzamo Mbatha is an actress, presenter, humanitarian and one of the most sought after stars of South Africa. She is currently on iSibaya and regularly attends red carpet events such as Cannes Film Festival and BET Awards. Nomzamo has a passion for humanitarian work and is currently an Ambassador for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Fumani Mthembi is a successful businesswoman and co-founder of Pele Energy Group, an independent power production and development firm, where she heads up the research and development subsidiary, Knowledge Pele, as MD.

ThisSELECT x STORIES session starts promptly at 10:00am on Saturday 26th May at the PUMA SELECT Courtyard in Braamfontein, corner of De Korte and Melle streets. The event is open to all and free of charge – space is limited, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.


Hosted by the legendary Mpumelelo ‘Frypan’ Mfula, PUMA SELECT x STORIES has been running since 2016 and is a series of knowledge-sharing events celebrating street culture, art, media and music. The sessions allow the PUMA SELECT fans to engage with industry leaders, game changing artists and disruptive trailblazers in an intimate Q&A couch session at our SELECT courtyard in Braamfontein. Past speakers include Amaru da Costa, Ryan Murgatroyd, Theresho Selesho, Daniel Ting Chong and Anees Peterson.
