Sonia, who is best known for her starring role as Ntombi Khumalo on the SABC1 soapie Generations, recently made herself her own woman crush and wrote a heartfelt motivational letter to herself.

“Hi Sonia, I feel and believe you’re the hardest working woman in the game. It’s been 24 years in the Industry and not once have you slacked, complained nor given up,” – first part reads.

She went on to say: “They tried to break you but they didn’t realize you were made of steel, they tried to bury you but little did they know you were a seed, they tried to mute you but alas you had a resounding voice, they wrote you off but Jesus re-wrote your script, they tried to burn you but listen you were born a phoenix, they did not put you in the front seat but somebody should have told them you were the main act, they fired you but it turned out you were a bosslady (sic),” – Sonia Mbele wrote
