Seasoned voice over artist, radio and TV personality, Carol Ofori, bids farewell to East Coast Radio after 5 years with the station.
Carol Ofori’s last show will be on Saturday, 13 April 2019 where she’ll be counting down the biggest songs in the country on the Top 40 chart show.
Carol Ofori will forever cherish the station as being a home she was at during some of her significant life stages.
“I joined the station as Carol Ralefeta and leave as Carol Ofori. I became a wife, a mom and a whole rounded woman with this amazing brand. To the entire team at East Coast Radio, thank you so much for your love, welcoming spirits and friendships that I formed. I’m going to miss you all,” expresses Carol Ofori.
Carol Ofori’s announcement of her departure from East Coast Radio comes off the back of receiving her first Liberty Radio Awards for her East Coast Radio Top 40 chart show in the category Best Weekend Radio Show.
“After 5 incredible years at KZN’s number 1 hit music station, it is time for me to say goodbye. Its amazing how ones life can change in 5 years. I joined the station as Carol Ralefeta and leave it as Carol Ofori…(sic)” – she wrote on Twitter.
