Red Room

Zama Marawa (Khanyi Mbau) has it all. She’s married to a wealthy man and expecting a child. However, things take a nasty turn and before she knows it, her life is turned upside down with nowhere to go and no one to turn to… Zama finds herself in a women’s shelter, but things are not as rosy as she had hoped. A thriller and journey of survival, Red Room releases on 8 March 2019 in 2D at the following Ster-Kinekor cinemas: Sterland, Maponya, Mall of the North, Mall of Africa, Rustenburg, Wonderpark, Musgrave, New Town, Eastgate and Sandton.

Deep End

Set in Durban, Deep End is a coming-of-age story about a young Indian woman, whose spirit of freedom and adventure collide with her culture and tradition. Sunitha Patel has lived up to her parents’ expectations all her life. Now, she wants to find her own way in the world, even if it means making waves in her society. Through her desire to become a surfer, she comes into conflict with her father, who has a different vision for her future. Yet Sunitha sets off in pursuit of her dream regardless, finding herself – and unexpected love – along the way.
