Nunnington Hall
This stunning manor house sits on the bank of the River Rye, which makes for a fantastic view as well as a great day out with numerous activities to enjoy in and around the property. There are fantastic period rooms to explore, transporting visitors back to a time gone by.
Peacocks roam freely in the grounds where visitors can enjoy the sweet smells of the manor’s spring-flowering meadows and gardens. Bridestones, Crosscliff and Blakey Topping
As the moors hold much of the appeal that draw people to enjoy Scarborough hotel holidays, Bridestones, Crosscliff and Blakey Topping are great landscapes to visit. The unique moorland nature reserve that these are all found in consists of giant rock formations, a stunning heather moorland, ancient woodland and wide expanses of meadow, all of which can be seen by the Blakely Topping viewpoint.
Cleveland Way National Trail
Those who prefer the coast to the moors are in luck; Yorkshire offers both! The Cleveland Way National Trail offer some great sights with numerous National Trust places to visit along the way. The Old Coastguard Station in Robin Hood’s Bay village offers a fantastic example of the history of the area, whilst the Ravenscar Coastal Centre provides all the information visitors could ever need about the local area, its landscape and people.
