The University of Pretoria (UP) has made an online portal available called UP Connect. Here, students and staff will have access to all that’s needed to continue studies and work online.
The University of Pretoria (UP) is excited to announce the finalisation of the UP Connect platform. This portal will enable students and staff to access everything they need to continue with their studies and work online, at no data cost.
UP will be starting their second semester through online teaching and learning methods from 4 May until 17 June. Students who are in financial need and require devices will have these delivered to them soon to ensure that they too have access to e-learning.
UP Connect is a unique portal that can be accessed through an internet browser on any device here. https://connect.up.ac.za/ Here, students can find all content from UP and they won’t be using any data to access it, no matter what network you’re on.
UP has stated,”It is an innovative way of giving students and staff access to everything they need to continue with their work and studies online, at no data cost.”
Staff and students only need their portal credentials to log in and to get free access to the following services:
- The UP Web
- clickUP
- Library Services
- Library Search
- Lib Guides
- UP and TUKS Gmail
- GIBS
- GIBS Blackboard
