AKA, King Forbes, whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, is heading to Los Angeles but he is sad to leave his daughter Kairo behind.
The rapper took to Twitter to announce that he won’t be taking Kairo to LA with him because she couldn’t get her visa in time. His mother, Lynn Forbes, also planned to go along, but her visa was also an issue.
“Good Morning I have good news and bad news … the good news is that I’m off to LA and I’m feeling pretty positive about the win … the bad news is, Kairo & my Mom couldn’t get their US Visa’s (sic),” – AKA tweeted.
The rapper AKA has been nominated for the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Other South African celebrities nominated for this year’s awards include Nomzamo Mbatha, Siya Kolisi, Kagiso Rabada and Somizi.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is an annual American children’s awards ceremony show that is produced by Nickelodeon.
AKA had to clear the air and inform his fans on why Kairo won’t be able to join him.
“Unfortunately the only US VISA interview we could get was in April (sic)” – he explained on Twitter.
