Dineo Moeketsi on Connie Ferguson: ‘I’ve experienced her humility”

Dineo Moeketsi

Dineo Moeketsi has expressed how she feels about Connie Ferguson. “No matter the conditions, she continues to finesse being a performer, an executive producer and entrepreneur every single day.”

These are the words used by Dineo Moeketsi in describing Connie Ferguson.

The actress, who stars as Connie’s daughter in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen, recently took to Instagram to gush about the actress and producer.

“I’ve often gravitated towards the expression, ‘Beyoncé has the same 24hrs as you do’. Over the past year, I’ve watched and learnt that @connie_ferguson has the same 24hrs as you & I do,” she started in the caption of a beautiful picture she shared of her and her on-screen mother.

“Believe me when I say I’ve heard no complaint when the hours are long. I’ve experienced her humanity that is freely given to all and no matter the conditions she continues to finesse being a performer, an executive producer and entrepreneur every single day.

“Day in, day out she continues to make her dreams come true. You deserve every win. I’m blessed to have a front row seat to watch and learn. Slay @connie_ferguson”

Connie responded to the post, by saying in the comments section that Dineo’s post has left her ‘humbled by your love’.

“@dineomoeketsi Baby girl!!! That is the sweetest, most touching thing anyone has said about me in a long time! I am so humbled by your love and feel truly blessed myself to be working with such a talented actress. I honestly feel like your mother! That’s why I can be so bluntly honest with my opinions! And like a G u take it on the chin! [Sic] I love you baby, and I only hope to inspire good and success in all aspects of your life! I thank God for you!” reads her full reply.

Fans too responded warmly to the post with one noting, ‘When women come together, great things happen’.
